Organization Overview:

The Science of Networks in Communities (SONIC) research group advances social network theory, and methodology through the development of cutting-edge techniques to study and improve knowledge networks in distributed working groups, virtual teams, and other large communities.

Project Description:

The MTS (Multi-Team System) Groupscope Project is an ongoing study of collaborative behavior to understand and improve the way diverse groups coordinate to achieve a common goal. You can read more about the project here.

Job Description:

The Recruitment Officer will report to the Recruitment Coordinator and will be responsible for social media, print, and face-to-face recruitment measures promoting MTS Study participation on Loyola University Lakeshore and Watertower campuses. This position may also require you to staff outreach events at the Loyola, DePaul, and Northwestern University campuses. As a secondary priority, the Recruitment Officer also has the option to perform Research Assistant duties as well.

Required Qualifications:

This position is open to current undergraduates who are eligible to work in the United States. Applicants over the age of 18 will be required to pass a background check. Candidates must be able to demonstrate keen written and verbal communication skills, sharp attention to detail, the ability to and work under tight deadlines.

The ideal candidate loves connecting with people of all backgrounds, exhibits outstanding judgment and professionalism, possesses excellent analytical skills and thrives in a fast-paced environment. This position requires the confidence to interact with a wide variety of people in a credible and compelling way. Experience with research or independent projects, marketing, public relations, or event planning is a plus..
